Vanessa Colella
Chief Innovation Officer, Head of Citi Ventures & Head of Citi Productivity, Citi
Vanessa Colella is Citi’s Chief Innovation Officer (CIO), Head of Citi Ventures, and Head of Citi Productivity. She is focused on harnessing the power of Citi to help people, businesses, and communities thrive in a world of technological, behavioral, and societal change.
Before assuming the role of CIO, Vanessa led venture investing and D10X for Citi Ventures, and previously ran marketing for Citi’s North American Consumer Bank. She joined Citi in 2010 from U.S. Venture Partners (USVP) after having held senior roles at Yahoo and McKinsey & Company.
Vanessa received her masters’ degrees from Columbia University and M.I.T. as well as a Ph.D. from M.I.T.’s Media Lab. She holds an S.B. degree in molecular biology from M.I.T. and currently serves as a member of the Corporation’s Visiting Committee for the Media Lab.
Matt Harris
Partner, Bain Capital Ventures
Matt is a Partner at Bain Capital Ventures in New York City and focuses on investments in financial technology. He sees a huge amount of revenue, profit and market cap shifting from regulated financial institutions to entrepreneur-led insurgents, across payments, lending, capital markets, real estate and insurance. Matt started his investing career at Bain Capital private equity in 1995, having worked previously at Bain & Company, and attended Williams College, where he majored in political economy (with a minor in rugby). In 2000, Matt founded Village Ventures, which he ran for 12 years and where he focused on early-stage fintech investing. In 2012 he rejoined Bain Capital Ventures.
Outside of work, Matt enjoys spending any free moments with his wife, Jessica, and their six children.
Matt serves on the Board of the Williamstown Theatre Festival, a regional theater associated with Williams College. He is also a board member at Endeavor, an organization leading the global movement to catalyze long-term economic growth by selecting, mentoring and accelerating the best high-impact entrepreneurs around the world, as well as the boards of GreaterNY and the Partnership Fund for New York City. He is obsessed with military history, and some day will write a book connecting the strategy and tactics of insurgency with what he has learned about entrepreneurship.
Scarlett Sieber

Rob Orgel
President & Chief Operating Officer, Flywire
As President and Chief Operating Officer, Rob leads Flywire’s global payment network, business operations, finance, legal, compliance, and corporate strategy functions. Rob brings extensive experience with 20 years in the payments/receivables ecosystem to Flywire, including hands-on experience in legal, compliance, finance, go-to-market, business development and global operations.
Prior to Flywire, he spent close to 10 years at Apple where he was part of the leadership team that developed, launched and grew the Apple Pay business and global expansion as well as the launch of the Apple Card. Before that, Rob was Chief Operating Officer at Quattro Wireless at the time it was acquired by Apple. Before that, Rob played key leadership roles at m-Qube, a first-of-its kind carrier billing and payment platform that was acquired by Verisign, and edocs, a leading e-billing and payment solution acquired by Siebel (subsequently acquired by Oracle).
Rob holds a Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts degrees in International Relations from Stanford University and a Juris Doctor degree from Harvard Law School.
